In person Intensive
In person Intensive
Fact: You’re the best mother for your child.
You know instinctively what feels right, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have questions…
And as wonderful as motherhood is, no one said it’d be a walk in the park.
When you have questions, concerns, and challenges, not even a deep-dive internet search (step away from the 42-page forum!) has the answers.
What if you could ask a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g to a baby care expert and motherhood mentor who has seen more poonamis, heard more colicky-cries, and has sent more babies to sleep than your entire friendship group/family/NCT group put together?
Introducing the
in-person intensive…
Motherhood Checkpoint
Does this sound familiar…? You’re:
– Exhausted and can’t think your way out of your current baby woes
– Seeking advice from someone you can trust (not an Mumfluencer)
– Equally excited AND apprehensive about motherhood and not sure what’s ‘normal’
– Daunted with all the new baby stuff you need to know, but determined to be the best mum you can be
– Working with specialists, say a night nurse or lactation expert, but you want a more holistic, big-picture approach to caring for yourself and your baby
After working with me,
this could be you:
“ I feel confident about my baby’s everyday routines”
“I’m less overwhelmed by motherhood”
“I know exactly what works specifically for my baby”
“I’m more in control and feel reassured in my approach to motherhood”
“I’m following my intuition, knowing that it’s been bench-marked by a professional”
“I feel less isolated and alone, knowing I have an expert and friend by my side”

Home visit
Shortly after our first call, I’ll pop over for a full day home visit (10am-3pm) to support you in your natural environment.
Often, the visits are more observational – you might not even realise I’m there. And it’s never to judge what you do, it’s more to see how my holistic approaches can work specifically for you. When you need hands-on support, I’m right there with you. It’s like having a maternity nurse on-hand all day, who can give you actionable advice and considerations to your environment and routines.

Have a Question?
"After Millie left I felt more confident that night when it came to sleeping as I had more practical knowledge, but also she helped me understand that there is no magic wand that could get my baby to sleep."
A week or so later, after a quick chat over Facetime, while I was feeding, Millie was in my living room talking all things baby. We focused on sleep mainly, understanding the cues and how we could get my son to sleep for longer stints. From her favorite tried and tested sleep-inducing products to techniques for feeding to minimize trapped wind, we talked about it all. But it didn't feel like a forced chat like it can sometimes feel when talking to a baby professional like a health visitor or midwife who simply has a checklist of questions and uninspiring leaflets. It felt like I was talking to a friend I'd known for years who was really great at giving advice.
After Millie left I felt more confident that night when it came to sleeping as I had more practical knowledge, but also she helped me understand that there is no magic wand that could get my baby to sleep. I wasn't doing it all wrong. And some nights may be better than others. But, there were ways I could encourage better sleeping patterns. After the meet up I also continued Whatapp support and Millie checked in multiple times to see if I needed help with anything else and to see how my son was getting on. It was so reassuring to know there was someone there that could offer that support and guidance that I so desperately needed in the really early weeks. She also sent over bespoke notes and a sleeping plan for when my son got a little older, which was great as I had already forgotten some of the points we had gone over in person.
All in all, the advice I received from Millie helped my son go from 45 minutes nighttime 'naps' to longer 4-hour stints which I put down to the knowledge and confidence I had gained after working with Millie. I cannot thank her enough and recommend her services to any parent who needs support, reassurance or advice. Thank you Millie!
"Millie sent over her suggested routine and very gentle settling method, and the first time I tried it I was completely shocked!"
In my first consultation with Millie I spoke to her about the changes that I felt needed to be made to enable the transition to me going back to work as smoothly as possible! The main thing was that I was still breastfeeding and my daughter had always napped during her feeds if we weren’t out in the pram or in the car. She wouldn’t ever nap independently and I knew this was a big change that needed to happen. I didn’t know where to start and I had read so much conflicting information online & the crying out method or sleep training was not to my taste. I discussed this with Millie and also spoke about day/night time routines and generally improving our situation!
Millie went through everything during our sessions with so much knowledge and reassurance that I finally plucked up the courage to give independent naps a go! We set everything up with all Millie’s suggestions and within two days my daughter had cracked independent naps. I couldn’t believe it! As much as I missed it, it meant I had so much more freedom and could actually get things done or just sit and have a cuppa at nap time. It’s really improved so much about all our lives, and whereas before Georgia would only nap for 20/30 minutes she now sleeps between 45 mins to an hour. Her sleeping at night has also improved. I am still breastfeeding, and although Georgia has three meals a day, it makes our time nursing that bit more special.
I have waited to write this testimonial for Millie as Georgia started at the childminders last week, although I haven’t gone back to work yet (we are in the settling in period) Georgia has this week had independent naps at her childminders and I believe what we learnt with Millie has made this transition so smooth and successful. It has built confidence in my parenting and I just wish I had done it sooner! Georgia is now almost 11 months and is just thriving! I can’t thank Millie enough for helping us, and for making the thought of going back to work that tiny bit easier!
I can't thank her enough.
“After 2 weeks of working with Millie, both I AND my husband were able to put our baby down in his cot and leave him to self-settle with no tears!”
My lockdown baby was 12 weeks old and I was researching all things feeding and sleeping related and getting myself confused by all the different information out there. I was starting to think about getting my baby into a routine but didn’t know how to go about it as I also wanted something that would offer us flexibility and wasn’t too rigid.
I was also seeking support on how to introduce a bottle to a baby who screamed at the mere sight of it and how I could get him to nap independently that didn’t involve lots of crying or me constantly having to try and breastfeed him to sleep every time he woke up. I had no issues breastfeeding to sleep but it often resulted in very short catnaps, frequent night wakings, and an overtired grizzly baby.
I didn’t want to do any ‘sleep training’ so Millie’s gentle ‘pat and shh’ approach really interested me. It took time and perseverance as it’s not a ‘quick fix’ but that’s why I liked it because it was a very gradual process and not stressful for me or more importantly my baby and best of all, it really worked!!
After 2 weeks of working with Millie, both I AND my husband were able to put our baby down in his cot and leave him to self-settle with no tears! His nap lengths have dramatically increased and he wakes up happy and smiley which is exactly what we wanted!
I can’t recommend Millie enough as she was there for us all day, every day to offer support, and advice and to cheer us on! She helped us with all of our biggest challenges and best of all, she’s really given me the confidence I needed to move forward with no more constant research required! Thank you so much Millie xxx
